The apparition was shaped luminous dots followed by a long tail of smoke behind him. Pentagon spokesman says, there are no indications of military involvement in this incident.
Now, the mystery has been solved by experts from the Pentagon and the U.S. Space Agency (NASA). What is that thing?
As loaded AP, scientists from two leading agencies that concluded, the appearance was caused by aircraft, not missiles.
U.S. Defense Department spokesman, Colonel Dave Lapan said the sighting was an aircraft smoke penampatan distorted by the camera angle, wind and other environmental factors including light of sunset.
Military experts had studied the video and confirm to all government agencies that have authority to launch missiles.
"Nobody has reported any missile launch," said Lapan.
The conclusion was supported by Al Bowers - research director of the Research Center of NASA in the Mojave Desert and Patrick Minnis, senior researcher at NASA Langley Research Center in Virginia, are studying the remote sensing of the earth's atmosphere and surface.
"A missile would not look like it," said Bowers. "Missiles will not smoke like that."Although it was a bit suspicious movement, but Bowers insisted it was not a missile or missiles. "Well .. most likely that the aircraft," he added. (AP) SJ
